Unarmed Security Officers
Unarmed officers serve as the front line of safety at properties where customer service and administrative checks are central. They combine access screening with visitor management to ensure secure and welcoming day-to-day operations.
Operational Responsibilities: Reception and lobby security, visitor check-in, key management, employee entrance verification, gate control, rule enforcement, and emergency escalations.
Key Environments: Office buildings, corporate plazas, hotels, schools, retail environments, residential communities, HOAs, and low-to-medium-risk commercial properties.
Armed Security Guards
Armed security officers are deployed to properties with higher threat liabilities. These officers carry state-mandated firearms permits, receive advanced use-of-force training, and maintain strict operational control to mitigate high-exposure risks.
Operational Responsibilities: High-deterrence patrols, high-value asset transport protection, sensitive gate control, monitoring cash-handling spaces, and rapid tactical emergency response.
Key Environments: Logistics hubs, warehouses with valuable inventory, cash-handling facilities, industrial plants, energy operations, and properties with repeated or documented high-risk incidents.
